bio
Hsieh Jung-wei (b. 1991, Taichung) holds an M.Arch from Shih Chien University (2023) and a BFA from the Department of Fine Arts, Tunghai University (2014). Grounded in natural observation and astronomical calculation, his practice spans installations and works on paper that integrate light, structure, and time, exploring the relationships between human perception, spatial experience, and temporality. His works are often conceived in direct response to the latitude and orientation of each site, establishing perceptible rhythms and scales. Through walking, pausing, and waiting, viewers are invited to re-locate themselves within the shifting interplay of light and spatial structure.
Hsieh was selected by Taiwan’s Ministry of Culture for the “Made in Taiwan – Young Artist Discovery” program at Art Taipei (2023) and was awarded the 2023 Taiwan Contemporary Artists Overseas Visit Grant by the Tianmei Art Foundation. His work has been recognized with an Honorable Mention at the 2024 Kaohsiung Award and the 2022 Next Art Tainan Award.
Recent solo exhibitions include Orbit, Yiri Arts Back_Y, Taipei (2025); The Blue Island and North Sea, Yiri Arts, Taipei (2022); and | Yáo // , Yáo Space, Taichung (2022). Selected group exhibitions include A Class on Space: Point and Line to Plane, Taipei Fine Arts Museum, Taipei (2024).
謝榕蔚（b.1991，台中）畢業於實踐大學建築研究所與東海大學美術學系。他以自然觀測與天文計算為基礎，創作結合光線、結構與時間的裝置與繪畫，探索人與空間、時間之間的關係。作品依據展出地的緯度與方位設定條件，建立可感知的節奏與尺度。觀者透過行走、停留與等待，在光影與結構中重新定位自身的位置。曾獲文化部遴選為 Art Taipei「2023 Made In Taiwan-新人推薦特區」藝術家，2023年獲天美藝術基金會之台灣當代藝術家海外參訪計畫贊助。過去作品曾獲高雄美術獎優選（2024），台南新藝獎（2022）。近期個展包含：「軌道」，伊日藝術計劃，台北（2025）；「東島與北海」，伊日藝術計劃，台北（2022）；「窯座 // 實驗展」 ，窯座，台中（2022）。聯展包含：「點線面：空間的一堂課」，台北市立美術館，台北（2024）。
