Residency Project at CMP Creative Lab, 2018–2019
Location: B1 Passageway, CMP Eslite Mall, Taichung

During the Lunar New Year season, this project transformed commonly used holiday vegetables, roots, and porcelain brands into landscape elements. Each plant was paired with a humorous life quote based on its characteristics:

Onion: The tears you cry today came from water that got into your head yesterday.
Garlic: My heart is tough, but once you heat it up, it softens.
White radish: We all endure—until one day we snap and turn into bitter gourds.

In addition to the living vegetable arrangements, a vending machine offered 40 seed packets, each paired with a quote for the public to interact with. Visitors were invited to guess the seed, take it home, and reflect.

Many life experiences are like seeds planted in our minds—only when the time is right do we understand them, and allow them to bloom.

Learning is sowing seeds in spring.
Harvest is the pain that becomes insight.

We go through.
We enjoy.
We await the next version of ourselves.

2018-2019在勤美文創LAB駐村之藝術計劃。地點於勤美誠品商場的B1通道。

 

農曆春節檔期，以餐桌年菜常用的蔬果、根莖和瓷器品牌做搭配，作為栽種的景觀植物；並依照植物的特性給予人生語錄。

洋蔥：今天流的淚，是昨天腦袋進的水。

蒜頭：我的心很硬，被你加熱之後就變軟了。

白蘿蔔：我們都在忍耐，直到有天發瘋變成苦瓜。

 

除了蔬菜植栽外，並設計四十款語錄搭配種子猜謎的自動販賣機與民眾互動。很多的生命經驗就像種子埋在我們的腦袋裡，等待時間到了理解它，讓種子開花結果。
