This exhibition brings together two series: The Gardener Who Plants Grass on Paper and The Strait. Through repetitive ballpoint pen gestures, Hsieh transforms paper into a space where time accumulates and belief takes form.

In the Gardener series, lines grow into abstract grasslands—each stroke marking a quiet journey. In The Strait, ink bleeds across wet paper, echoing the feeling of sitting by the sea at night, waiting for darkness to settle.

These works are not landscapes, but spaces of thought and time—poetic fields built through labor and silence. When night falls, we find ourselves at the edge, not quite ready to return.

在紙上耕作，是謝榕蔚面對世界的方式。展覽《天黑了，我在海邊不想回家》串連兩個系列創作：《紙上種草的園丁》與《海峽》，分別以「草原」與「海」為意象，透過原子筆反覆勞動的動作，將時間壓縮於紙面，展開一段由信念驅動的旅程。

草原系列以細膩筆觸在白紙上種下抽象地景，書寫也是一種前行；海峽系列則在濕潤紙張上書寫，讓墨色自然暈開，如夜晚的海邊逐漸適應黑暗的視覺經驗。作品所描繪的不是具體空間，而是心靈場域——在不斷堆疊、沉靜觀看中，觀者與創作者一同停駐於某個不想離開的瞬間。

這不是風景的描寫，而是身體與時間交織出的詩。當天黑了，我們也在海邊，暫時不想回家。
